Nothingness, or the essential emptiness of reality. Emptiness, like zero, is free and omnipresent; it can be introduced anywhere into the cosmic equation without apology.
For this reason, all concepts exist in the midst of a sea of nothingness. Diagrammatically, the blank white background upon which order is drawn represents this nothingness.
